All my horses are very much my pets and I try hard to match clients with the right horse for them. I often suggest a free trial whereby a new client would come and try a horse before hunting it just so both horse and rider are happy. Anyone who knows me understands how I love my horses and their welfare is of so much importance to me.

I am only a small business and together with my groom Lydia Howard we school, jump and/or produce all my horses ourselves. I will buy seasonedhunters which I believe will be suitable for my clients and I produce them too from youngsters. All my horses I trust implicitly and know them all inside out which, I believe is important when explaining to a new client how the horse will perform.

I also take horses for dressage and jump schooling and produce event horses and ponies. I started my riding career at the age of 5yrs attending the local riding school and had my first naughty pony called Rufus at 7yrs. He did nothing but buck me off and refused to go point blank into water. Despite countless eliminations this did not deter me and I went on to represent my local pony club in Dressage and Event Teams. I have produced horses to and ridden at the National Dressage Championships and currently my top horse is intermediate and we have represented The Monster Team at the National Team Chase Championships.

I have hunted all my life since my Mother literally boxed my pony and myself up and plonked me at the Boxing Day meet with the Hambledon Hunt. Since that day of galloping up and down dale I have loved my hunting and have hunted with many packs all over Britain. I hunt nearly all my horses as I firmly believe there is no better way to get ‘to the bottom’ of a horse and encourage them to be forward thinking and to remember that they are a horse!!
